Why do the cats think that if they race across my feet Every. Single. Time. I am in mid-stride, causing me to crash into whatever wall, chair, table, or sharp corner is nearest and then bellow in pain, that this behavior will make we want to give them treats?
It’s because your cats regard *you* as the treat, or rather, as the slow and weak wildebeest that they can easily prey upon and bring down and rip the viscera out of.
Not that I’m trying to compare you to a large, slow-moving bit of wild cattle or anything… 😉
I don’t know but if you figure it out let me know. I have a cat who seems to think the same thing.
