Reflecting back on how you spent your day and realizing that an embarrassingly large portion was spent worrying that, because she now spends most of her time on a chair in the kitchen, waiting for the next can of food, this is a sign that the big cat’s life “lacks fulfillment”.

I have two huge cats in my “zoo” as well, who don’t do much more than sit, but I must admit I never worried about whether they were fulfilled or not. They look totally happy to me; wouldn’t that be fulfillment?
I agree with sooz. What could be more fulfilling than lounging around waiting for your human slave to feed you?
The goal of eastern religions is to get you to stop Doing and start Being. We are human Beings, not human Doings. Our animals are teaching us how to Be.
