Sounds like it would be useful for the massage therapist to wear soundproof ear protectors and splatter-proof protective googles. This therapist may mistake your writhing in pain for absolute ecstasy. Ever come across the phrase, “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil?’ You might check this out:

SOunds like you need a new massage therapist!
I have been a licensed massage therapist for 12 years. In order to get those stubborn knots out, you dont dig deeper until your client wants to jump off the table and scream in pain. You SLOW DOWN. If you work more slowly you can go much deeper and it wont hurt. If you h ave areas of large muscle knots and contractures, you cant get it out with only one massage either, and trying to do so will only leave your client very sore. When a massage therapist works so deeply taht you want to scream and run, it causes you to tense up, and so defeats the purpose by haveing the opposite effect from relaxation.
Find someone who knows how to do myofascial release work too. If you release the fascia that wraps the muscle, the muscle can release easier. I know some people dont belive this but massage is not supposed to hurt. The old adage, no pain no gain, is not true in massage therapy.
If you are sore the day after your massage you can take a hot bath with a 1/2 to 1 cup of apple cider vinegar in the water. This will help to detoxify and cleanse toxins from the body so you wont feel so sore.

Before we awaken, our joy is to use the things of this earth; after the grace of awakening, our joy is to serve the things of this earth. With the growth of wisdom our life becomes more and more a creative act, an act of service. The beauty of such an understanding is that it excludes no one.
