While making my rounds through the Thursday Thirteen, I found this AWESOME post over at Suburban Guerilla that I just had to mention here. He says:
“There are things you see that are imbued with certain qualities while others are not:

Cadillac Escalade = Class

Cast metal, chrome plated bull testicles hanging from your trailer hitch = Not so much.”

So true.

I don’t know that an Escalade is the epitome of class or just burgeois wanna-be high-class automobile, but it certainly is a step up from the truck balls.

This is just TOO freaky. I can’t believe you wrote about this today. I stopped in at the pharmacy this morning on the way to work, and when I got out of my car, there was this monstrous red GMC 4×4 pickup (what I call a Red Neck special) and it had the bull cojones, only they were tan, like human skin. Double Yuk! And I’m a guy.

I’ve seen these things around town, way more than I would like too, but I just stood there a moment and thought, “I need to write a blog post about this!”

Losers.

I’m not Mr. Self Confidence, but I’m not that big a loser.

Bourgeois? Perhaps, alas when you live, as I do, in Bourgeoiseville it is sometimes hard to tell the difference. But it’s like my Momma used to say, nouveau riche is better than no riche at all :-)

Thanks for the comment and thanks Jenny for the kind words.
